Established in 2021, Sartorial Theory's origins trace back to the menswear advanced study program at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), where the brand's visionary designer and owner, August Ortega, conceptualized a vision to rejuvenate the stagnant realm of menswear. August believed in infusing new ideas, sometimes contrary to convention yet firmly rooted in traditional aesthetics.

Our journey commenced with a modest collection, featuring exceptionally soft and substantial t-shirts crafted from a premium cotton and spandex blend. Complementing these, our timeless joggers, made from poly/spandex tech fabric, offer unparalleled versatility from the nightclub to the gym. Like the growth of a mighty sequoia, Sartorial Theory starts from seeds, aiming to expand our offerings gradually.
